Damien Knighton Sentenced to Prison for Sexual Assault
Damien Knighton of East Boston was arrested in January 2023 after patients reported that he had performed unauthorized genital and rectal exams on them after they had been seen by their doctors.
In March 2025, Knighton was sentenced to 9-12 years in prison plus 3 years of probation for sexually assaulting patients.
The sentencing came after a Suffolk Superior Court jury convicted Knighton on 6 counts of indecent assault and battery on four male patients he attended to while working for MGH Back Bay HealthCare Center.
He was also banned from ever working in the medical field in Massachusetts and ordered to register as a sex offender.
